Driving Destiny

In life you will face numerous obstacles.

Various challenges will test you ethically and spiritually.

Decisions you make will become critical pieces in overcoming adversity.

Every calamitous event will hinge upon your ability to survive.

Such is life in a storm. Storms are not favored by fortune. Storms bring chaos. Great disorder and confusion brews within them. Atrophy abounds in a storm. Catastrophe lies awake, danger devours the weak, and some people oppose progress in a storm. Battles appear endless, situations hinder progress, and even dreams become shattered in a storm.

Storms are everywhere. Storms occur in finances. Financial storms can create economic hardships such as downsizing, diminishing stocks and bonds, and foreclosures. Relationship storms can create separation, divorce, and domestic abuse. Employment storms can create pay cuts, layoffs, and inability to maintain financial stability.

Storms can create tumultuous outcomes. There are ice storms, blizzards, snowstorms, thunderstorms, and windstorms. William Shakespeare's, The Tempest was based upon a storm.

How do you endure a storm?

One must be strong in the midst of a storm. Your hope may falter. Your friends may fail. Your pride lessens and your circumstance gets worse. Your strength may even decline. Nevertheless, your faith must not wavier. According to Ephesians 6:10: "Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."

You'll face turbulent times. However, the best that God has to offer still exists.

Maintain your foci and keep the faith.

Remember these words written by Daryl Coley: "If the storms don't cease and if the winds keep on blowing in my life, my soul has been anchored in the Lord!

My friends keep the faith!

You have what it takes to endure a storm!
